CLBA relies on neighborhood involvement. Volunteering for a committee is important to get things done, as well as keeping things in order. Your help is encouraged and appreciated. Neighborhood Watch
Please watch out for yourself and your neighbors. Report any suspicious activity to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Do not attempt to take matters into your own hands!! If you observe any suspicious activity, please call the Lake County Sherriff’s non-emergency number: 847-549-5200. In the event of an emergency CALL 911
CLBA Common Area Properties
This belongs to you! Take a walk, check it out. There are 2 walkways…one between Grapevine and Prospect and the other at the north end of Woodbine. The Beach is about 2 acres. Take a swim. Have a picnic. Use this area!! Please help keep it clean and let the Board know if you see anyone damaging our beach or park area, the boat launch, the walkways or anywhere else. If caught, they will be prosecuted and fined to the fullest extent of the law!
Parking
Please do not park on the streets for any reason. Not only is it against county ordinances, it hinders emergency vehicles from quickly and safely reaching our neighbors in need. Cars may be tagged, ticketed or towed at the owners expense if found to be in violation. If additional short term parking is required, please contact the Board for help.
Secure Mail Box
For your convenience, there is a locked mail box located near the entrance to the beach and it is checked regularly. Please feel free to mail or deposit your CLBA checks (in an envelope) in the locked box. Make sure that your information is included so we know who gets the credit.
Never deposit cash directly into the box!! Thank you for your cooperation.
Watercraft Launch
The watercraft launch is available for homeowners in good standing. Please lock the gate after you launch or take your watercraft out of the water. There is a little room at the end of the docks for you to park your watercraft for 1 hour if you need to. Please be courteous to the other boaters. Always clean up after yourselves.
